Komax broadens its customer base in the United States, Canada and Mexico
Komax is strengthening its position in North America through an asset deal concluded with TE Connectivity’s Application Tooling business unit at the end of 2018. TE Connectivity has been distributing Komax products to its customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico for more than 15 years and will now transfer this distribution business to Komax over the coming weeks.
Komax and TE’s Application Tooling have enjoyed a successful technology partnership and have been drivers of automation in the automotive industry through a number of joint development projects. In the US, Canada and Mexico, TE Connectivity also functioned as a distribution partner, selling Komax products and providing services to its customers. With the asset deal signed at the end of 2018, Komax will now assume this distribution business from TE Connectivity over the coming weeks. TE’s Application Tooling will continue to provide services for installed Komax products and market its own products in these three countries.
