Get together@Komax: An American-style celebration of summer
Inside Komax
On Sunday, August 7, 2022, the Komax Corp NA offices of Buffalo Grove and Brookfield joined forces for an American-style celebration of summer. Several employees and their family members, enjoyed a classic US picnic. Everyone feasted on hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, cold salads, potato chips, watermelon, and ice cream.
Afterwards, everyone was able to burn a few calories while enjoying the pedal boats and the children enjoyed jump ropes, frisbees and bubbles. Komax had picked the ideal location: Independence Grove, a forest preserve in Libertyville, Illinois, is set on a gorgeous lake with miles of walking and biking trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and much more.
But back to the festivities: Komax' US summer bash also provided the opportunity to celebrate, a few days late, the birthday of Tim Macalpine, Managing Director of Komax USA. Which meant more delicious food (i.e., cake), as well as a rendition of “Happy Birthday”, sung by the fabulous voices of Komax NA.
