As an engineer, you develop individual parts and assemblies for machines, test setups or assembly devices. You create production and assembly drawings and help with product maintenance. You will often work together with other specialists.

At Komax, apprentices gain an insight into various development departments. Through their varied activities, they also come into contact with other departments such as manufacturing, assembly, technical editing and logistics.

What you do exactly

  • Develop, assemble and test new components

  • Select machine elements and integrate them into machines

  • Create jigs and fixtures for assembly

  • Develop customer-specific solutions

  • Write documentation and reports

What you should bring with you

The focus is on the technical/craft direction, so an interest in this area is an advantage. At Komax, we also offer optimal conditions for women to succeed in STEM professions (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology).

School requirements

Secondary school type B/C with good degree
