• 9/5/2019 - Komax acquires Exmore and extends its technology leadership
  Belgian company Exmore has extensive experience in the development of customerspecific solutions for processing sensor cables. By acquiring Exmore, Komax is strengthening its position in this increasingly important market. With the advent of autonomous vehicles, the number of sensor cables will continue to increase, thus driving the demand for solutions for automated processing.

• 8/20/2019 - A challenging first half
  The Komax Group faced considerable headwinds in the first half of 2019 against the backdrop of a struggling automotive industry. With customers investing significantly less, order intake declined by 19.2% to CHF 206.7 million compared with the previous year, while revenues decreased by 14.2% to CHF 203.3 million. Komax is continuing to invest heavily in research and development so that it can expand its technology leadership further.

• 8/6/2019 - Komax continues to invest heavily in R&D despite sluggish automotive industry
  The Komax Group had a challenging first half of 2019. The fall in order intake and revenues due to the current sluggishness in the automotive industry was nevertheless within the minus 10%–20% band forecast in mid-March 2019. Komax continued to invest heavily in R&D despite the lower revenues. Combined with additional expenses for projects in new application areas, this led to a significant fall in operating profit (EBIT).

• 7/1/2019 - Jürgen Hohnhaus to replace Günther Silberbauer on Komax Executive Committee
  There will be a change in the Executive Committee of the Komax Group. Günther Silberbauer, who has been a member of the Committee since 2019, has expressed a wish to concentrate exclusively on his role as General Manager of Komax SLE in Grafenau, Germany, from 2020. Jürgen Hohnhaus will replace him on the Executive Committee from January 2020.

  Shareholders attending the Annual General Meeting of Komax Holding AG, held on 16 April 2019 at the Culture and Congress Centre Lucerne (KKL), approved all the proposals of the Board of Directors.

• 3/14/2019 - Komax achieves a significant increase in order intake, revenues and profitability and is proposing a dividend increase
  The Komax Group posted a record result in 2018, thereby further strengthening its leading market position. Order intake was up 10.4% at CHF 496.7 million, while revenues rose 17.4% to CHF 479.7 million.
