Strip Series B300 now features intelligent quality control
Technology & Innovation
The Strip Series B300 with integrated quality control is the ideal solution when even the slightest deviation in stripping quality is unacceptable and a technical failure could have serious consequences. This is the case, for example, in medical technology or in the aerospace industry. In these markets, it is not only precision and productivity that count, but above all reproducible quality, process reliability, and maximum control over every single processing step. The Strip Series B300 is now available in four different versions depending on customer needs, with the combination of Automatic Conductor Detection and Adaptive Incision Control resulting in a quality monitoring system that is unique worldwide.

Manufacturers in medical technology, aerospace, and other high-end industries operate under conditions where the focus lies not only on product quality but also on functional and system safety. In medical technology, wires and components must withstand frequent sterilization processes, mechanical stress, and strict hygiene requirements. Even the slightest damage to a conductor can impair signal or power transmission and, in extreme cases, jeopardize patient safety. In the aerospace industry, additional challenges arise: high vibrations, temperature fluctuations, electromagnetic interference, tight installation spaces, and strict regulatory requirements, where traceability and documented quality play a fundamental role.
Fluctuating raw material quality, extremely small wire dimensions, and complex multi-conductor and specialty cables are all part of everyday production. In addition, many applications demand short innovation cycles, frequent product changes, and tight delivery deadlines—all of which increase the pressure on operators, quality assurance, and production planning. For production, this means one thing above all: processes must not only be highly precise but also seamlessly reproducible. What is needed are solutions that not only enable quality but actively ensure it.
The B300 Series stripping machines, featuring Automatic Conductor Detection (ACD) and Adaptive Incision Control (AIC), are designed to meet this exact need: They reduce the amount of manual intervention and programming required, simplify operation, enhance process stability, and help prevent scrap and rework.
Less complexity, more quality
When the highest standards are required and contact with the inner conductor during the stripping process cannot be tolerated, the combination of AIC and ACD ensures unique quality control, with AIC determining the cutting depth and ACD monitoring the stripping process. With ACD, the system monitors every cut and strip and immediately signals if the inner conductor is touched or the maximum permissible cutting depth has been reached. It also detects all deviations in the process, ensuring continuous quality monitoring, even with challenging wires.
Building on ACD, the optional Adaptive Incision Control enhances the process with an intelligent automation of the machine configuration: The wire is programmed in automatic teach mode, eliminating the need for manual programming when switching between wire types. In addition, the machine continuously adjusts its parameters and compensates for wire diameter tolerances. The result is minimal training requirements and reduced workload, improved production efficiency and significantly less scrap, consistent results, and uniform quality—even with fluctuating raw material quality. And right from the very first cut after the system is activated.
4 models for different requirements
In addition to quality control, the Strip Series B300 remains consistently designed for ease of use and excellent ergonomics. The machine offers intuitive user guidance, good accessibility, and a compact design for flexibility in production. To better meet a wide range of customer needs, the Strip Series B300 machines are now available in four models: Core, Plus, Pro, and Ultra.
The Strip Series B300 Core is designed for customers who process simpler applications and a limited variety of wires in smaller batch sizes, and who do not require customization in terms of product planning, programming, and production. The “Plus” machine configuration enables the processing of demanding applications, such as multi-conductor cables with jacket stripping or various types of strand stripping in repeat orders. It is designed for manufacturers handling many different wires in varying batch sizes. The Strip Series B300 Pro, including AIC, is the optimal solution for customers who want to ensure consistently high quality despite fluctuating raw material quality and reduce programming effort. The B300 Ultra combines ACD and AIC and is specifically aimed at manufacturers in the aerospace, military, or medical technology sectors, where strict regulatory requirements influence production conditions.
