Quality control with optional incision monitoring (ACD)
Three pairs of blades strip wires of 0.13 – 1.5 mm² (AWG 26 – 16). The optional ACD incision monitoring detects the slightest contact between the blade and conductor strands.
The Omega 750 SA cable assembly machine produces wire harnesses of varying degrees of complexity and allows for terminal housings to be loaded on one side or both sides.
Three pairs of blades strip wires of 0.13 – 1.5 mm² (AWG 26 – 16). The optional ACD incision monitoring detects the slightest contact between the blade and conductor strands.
The two automatic insertion gripper positions the wire precisely, monitors the loading force during the entire process and checks that the terminal locking is correct.
The expandable wire changer holds up to 36 different wires from the entire cross-section range ready for processing to ensure quick turnaround.
Unwound wires always have a twist. The untwisting module removes the twist from the wires, which is important for subsequent fully automatic loading.
With the wire storage system and a large pallet with mounting fixtures, double-sided wire harnesses with a high degree of complexity can easily be produced.
