Function
The SL starlite system is excellently suited for all fields of application requiring the monitoring of crimp or press forces. The system offers a wide range of triggering methods such as proximity, encoder and even automatic triggering by the force itself. A wide range of force sensors and adaption plates (either on the ram or base-plate) are already available. The system can be used with every crimping machine, and thus protect your investment also for the future.
Monitoring functions
Individual crimping process is monitored for the following defects:
- Missing strands
- Incorrect crimp height
- Incorrect wire gauge
- High/low insulation
- Wire not completely in the wire crimp
- Strands outside of terminal
- Short insulation
- And many more
