Komax 62 – Notching and slitting machine
Introduction
The Komax 62 can be used for automatically notching or slitting ribbon cable with
or without intermediate webbing. It is controlled from the Komax basic machine. Since the blade holder
and the die-plate are quickly and easily interchanged, the same basic device can be used to slit or
notch different types of wire.

Function
The processing principle is the same for both notching and slitting. The blades
mounted on the blade holders cut the webbing of the ribbon cable by engaging in the die-plate.
Ribbon cables without intermediate webbing are cut through with thin notching blades.
The cutting scraps automatically fall into the scraps container.
In order to be able to get a high productivity with simultan notching/slitting and
cabel-cutting, the position of the Komax 62 can be conveniently changed by sliding it along the rail
included in the delivery.
