TopConvert
Introduction
TopConvert can be used to convert already existing job and article lists to WPCS format. This data can then be directly processed by fully automatic crimping machines.
Function
Many jobs already exist in electronic form. TopConvert was developed to enable fully automatic crimping machines to read these job and article lists. The conversion is based on customer data (job and artice lists) that exist as Excel tables. Komax creates a customer-specific converter on the basis of these Excel tables. This converter then converts the customer data to WPCS format. Once in this format, the data can be read and processed by fully automatic crimping machines (Pos. 1) and can also be imported into the TopNet management software (Pos. 2).
Peripheral conditions
- All fully automatic crimping machines must be equipped with TopWin and WPCS.
- Excel table with production data must be saved as an ASCII table (*.csv).
- The definition sheet must be filled out and enclosed with the order. The converter is then created on the basis of the information on this sheet.
