Ismeca Automation, which joined the Komax Group in April this year, has landed a major order from a world-leading computer and electronics manufacturer. The customer, which has been working closely with Ismeca, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, for the past ten years, has initially ordered two assembly lines. On past experience, however, the potential volume is several times greater, according to Serge Peguiron, head of Ismeca Automation, since the turnkey assembly lines are for a high-volume consumer product. Ismeca is very pleased about this order as it possesses significant experience in the technology.
