Modulo 300 – modular assembly cell

Introduction

The Modulo 300 cell design is the mechanical basis. Each cell consists of a frame, control cabinet and safety system. The cells are available in three standard sizes (900 mm, 1800 mm, and 2700 mm) and can be mounted in a consecutive series or with intermediate links in between.

The customer specific processing stations can be freely arranged within a set minimum grid of 300 mm. Up to three consecutive stations are combined electrically into a station group. This allows wiring to be split in modules and executed by several people at the same time.

Mechanical installation and wiring of the system are started even before the engineering is completed. This approach minimizes the delivery times and the production costs. The clear-cut structure also facilitates error diagnosis and retrofitting.

The control cabinet is integrated on the front or back, depending on the specific application involved. This flexible positioning, coupled with the top-opening safety cover and the sliding user console, assures optimum access to all areas. Commercially available, pallet-based transport systems can be integrated easily, as can the fps 300.
