Film edge removal

Komax Solar has further improved its process for exposing the molybdenum coating. In this newly developed process featuring integrated process control, even the thinnest layers are removed free of residue so that the molybdenum layer is optimally prepared for subsequent contacting. This process lays the groundwork for reliable, top quality contacting.

Two processes in a single machine:
The vacuum sand blasting process can selectively remove individual layers or entire sets of layers depending on the settings of the process parameters. Komax Solar has therefore integrated both processes, edge deletion and film edge removal, into a single fully automatic machine with a space-saving footprint.
